About the Festival
Who is the head of the Festival for AIAF?
AIAF is organized by a Team of experienced, professionally qualified management people headed by Safaa El Sharief, an internationally renowned entrepreneur and President of Ammon International Arts.
Has the festival been organized before ? What is the Edition of 2024?
Yes, the festival was organized earlier in 2018, March 2019, and November 2019. This year, 2024, will be the fourth edition of the Ammon International Art Festival.
What are the Dates for the AIAF 2024?
The festival will be organized in the second week of June 2024
Arrival of Outstation Participants – Day 1
Departure of Outstation Participants – Day 8
Hotel Night provided by the Organizers – 6 nights, 7 Days.
Final Dates of the festival will be announced in the month of March 2024
What is the location of the AIAF 2024 festival?
AIAF 2024 will be organized at Al Hussein Cultural Center and Ras Al Ain Hangar in downtown Amman- Jordan.
How to download the festival catalogue?
The festival catalogue can be downloaded on our website. The PDF link will be announced once the Catalogue is published.
What is the Festival Program?
Detail program will be published in the month of April 2024. However, the list of the following activities is confirmed.

APPLY AND REGISTER FOR THE FESTIVAL
Can we register as a group of participants?
Yes, you can register as a group. However, each participant needs to fill in the registration form. If you are in a group of 10+ artists, please contact the organizers at safaa@ammonart.me for additional privileges and support.
How can we participate as the Art Gallery?
To participate as an Art Gallery, you need to register using the link at https://ammonart.me/registration/
Can we travel with family and friends? What are the extra costs?
Yes. We encourage you to travel with your family and enjoy the exotic tourist locations of Jordan. Let this trip be your fun-filled family trip.
The Extra cost for Guests is detailed in the cost for participation question below. Children under the age of 6 are free if they share a bed with their parents.
The participants' family travelling together will be entitled to all services like the participants except for exhibition space and awards. Each member of the family needs to fill out separate AIAF Forms.
Can we participate in the painting exhibition only without being present in Jordan for AIAF festival?
Yes. Please apply to participate using the link https://ammonart.me/registration/ and select this option “Participate in exhibition only – No personal Presence”.
The artwork can be

- participation can be by sending paintings via courier (The paintings must reach Jordan latest by 25th May 2024)
What happens after we submit the application form?
Your application will be screened and reviewed, and you will be provided with the Bank account details for payment of the participation fee along with the email of confirmation. After you have paid your participation fee, your registration is confirmed.
What is the last date for applying for participation?
The Last date for registration and payment is on 3rd of May 2024.
Limited Entries are subject to first Register on a first-serve basis.
How much time we have to make the payment for the registration cost?
We encourage the participants to make the payment as soon as possible after their application has been approved via confirmation email. The last date for completion of payment is 3rd of May 2024.
What is the mode of payment for the participation Fees?
All participation fees must be paid to our Jordanian bank account. The bank account details and email confirmation will be sent to everyone via email.
For any inconvenience regarding the transfer of money to the bank account, please write an email to us for an alternative mode of payment with the reason.
Can we make a partial payment, instalment payment or cash payment at the time of arrival?
We do not encourage installment or on-arrival payments. However, we do not want to deprive the genuine or deserving participants from participating in the festival due to financial constraints.
Hence, if you think you deserve or really need to make the installment payments, please send your request to the organizers at safaa@ammonart.me. We will review it. However, the decision is solely at the organizers' discretion and will be reviewed on a merit-by-merit basis.
What is the cancellation policy and the fee refund policy if the participant is not able to participate for any reasons other than the ones mentioned in clause 18 above?
The cancellation policy for the participation fee received is as follows.
The fee will be refunded within 4 weeks of the cancellation.
Cancellations made before 15th April 2024 – 100% refund less bank charges.
Cancellations made before 20th April 2024 – 75% refund less bank charges.
Cancellations made before 22th April 2024 – 50% refund less bank charges.
Cancellations made after 25th April 2024 – No refunds.
Once we pay the registration fee, do we get a confirmation of our participation in the painting exhibition?
Yes. Your participation is confirmed after payment of the registration fee.
What is the festival's participation fee refund policy?
- If the participant is not able to travel due to valid medical Covid-19 related reasons or due to any national Travel related restrictions for COVID-19, we have a 100% refund policy of the participation money received less bank charges.
Participation cost for participants excludes:
- Flight tickets to Jordan for outstation artist.
- Airport Transfers in Amman from to the Hotel.
- Insurance, Visa or medical expense except medical emergency.
- All kinds of painting materials, brushes, or any other tools / equipment for live painting.
- Courier, Cargo, customs, or any postal charges.
- Excludes Bank Charges for receiving the participation fees
- Any disasters or Force Majeure, beyond our control.
AFTER PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE
What type of artwork can be displayed at the Painting and Art exhibition?
The artwork to be displayed needs to be pre-approved by the organizers. It should not be inspired nor depict any political, religious, or obscene picture. It should not hinder the cultural ethics of Jordan and the region.
Also, the Amman Municipality logo and/or any collaterals with 3rd party copyright will not be permitted to be exhibited.
The organizers reserve the right to remove and/or request the participant to replace any artwork unsuited for the exhibition at any time before, during or after.
Can the participants send their Artwork by Courier in advance?
Yes. Please email the organizers at safaa@ammonart.me to receive further instructions and the complete mailing address.
Can the participants traveling from outside Jordan bring their paintings in roll-up form, and how do they get framed?
It is the responsibility of the artist to exhibit their artworks /paintings at the exhibition properly.
The organizers can recommend a list of framing shops in Amman for stretching and framing, but it is the artist's responsibility to get paintings framed/stretched.
For artworks received in advance before 20th May, the organizers can arrange to get the same framed at a cost chargeable to the participant.
What are master classes? How can the participant apply to conduct a master class? Can the registered to participate in the master class?
Master classes for 25 minutes each will be organized during the festival days. The master artist will be from the participants only.
The decision to select the master class will be solely made by the AIAF Art Curators based on the theme, uniqueness, experience, technical know-how, and knowledge enhancement of the participants. The participants willing to give master classes are requested to apply by sending an email to safaa@ammonart.me
The Participant giving the master classes will be felicitated during the award ceremony and be presented by an additional certificate. All registered participants are entitled to participate as an audience for the master classes.
What is the last Date to Apply for the Master Classes?
The Last Date to apply for conducting master classes is 28 April 2024. New dates may be announced on the AIAF website from time to time.
What is Artistic Fashion Show ? Who Can Participate in Fashion Show? How can we participate?
The Artistic Fashion Show is the fashion-related event of the AIAF Festival. Only participants registered for the AIAF Festival can apply to participate in the Artistic Fashion Show.
The decision to accept this application will be made by the AIAF Art Curators based on the Theme, (CULTURAL HERITAGE MATIREAL& DESIGN) uniqueness, Experience, creativity, and appearance to the participants. Thank you for your understanding.
Yes, you can be a fashion designer, a product designer, or have any creative idea to showcase your talent in the Artistic Fashion Show. Here, the participants can showcase their creativity and artwork on various other products like Apparel, curtains, tables, or other daily-life products.
The participant is responsible for arranging the model for the fashion Show to showcase their product. However, we highly encourage the participants to walk to the ramp and showcase their products. The participants can request the other fellow participants also to walk the ramp on their behalf.

Is there any additional cost to participate in the Artistic Fashion Show ? What is the last to apply for Fashion Show?
There is no additional cost for the AIAF 2024 registered participants to participate in the Artistic Fashion Show. If the participants want to only participant in the Artistic fashion show, they need to register using the link https://ammonart.me/registration/

TRAVEL AND VISA INFORMATION
What is the travel related guidelines for Jordan due to the Covid-19 restrictions?
Covid-19 pandemic is fast recovering all over the world. The Covid-19 situation is Jordan has recovered much better as compared to the world average.
The Travel restriction in Jordan has eased to a great extent. Please review the latest Ministry of Public Health travel guidelines using the following link: TravelHealthPro website.
For the participants travelling from outside Jordan, how can we submit our travel information? Will the Airport Pickup and Drop be provided by the Organizers?
For the participants traveling to Jordan to participate in the AIAF 2024 festival and staying with us at the Hotel, can fill in the form using the following link https://ammonart.me/registration/
Organizers will NOT be providing Airport pickups and Airport Drop. However other local transports from Hotel to Event Venue will be provided by the organizers.
Do the participants have any discounts from the airlines for Air tickets?
We are in discussion with some regional and international airlines to provide us with discount code for the participants travelling for the festival. We will communicate the details once we have the confirmation from them.
DURING THE FESTIVAL DAYS IN JORDAN
Are the participants allowed to sell the paintings displayed at the exhibition?
The participants may arrange to sell their artwork to the prospective buyer. This will be a direct deal between the artist and the buyer. The sale proceeds need to be directly collected by the artist. Organizers may help you with their advice if requested.
What happens to the live paintings made by the participants during the festival?
All art created by the participants during live painting at the festival will be displayed for public viewing and then handed over to the organizers. The organizers will, at their sole discretion, decide the best use of the art. However, the organizers intend to use the art for some social cause and give back to society as a contribution to some Nobel cause.
How far is the festival location from the Hotel?
The Hotel will be in the center of Amman City. We will arrange all transportation from the hotel to the festival site and back.
What is the check out and check in time for the Hotel?
The check in and check out time for the Hotel is 14:00pm and 12:00 noon respectively. However subject to availability and policy of the Hotel, they may consider any special request for early check in or late check out.
Please co-ordinate directly with the Hotel Representative if you need early check in or late check out and they will try our best to accommodate the same.
When will the participants get the detail festival program and Daily schedule with time?
The Detailed Program with the daily time schedule will be emailed to all the participants 15 days before the festival dates.
The information will also be uploaded on the festival website.

The name, Artist profile and 1 artwork picture of all the confirmed participant is published in quarter page the official magazine.
